CAN I BRING MY OWN WINE ON THE NAPA WINE TRAIN?

Yes, the Napa Wine Train charges a corkage fee based on the size of bottle. The corkage fee for your bottle is waived if you also purchase a bottle of wine on board.

HOW LONG IS A RIDE ON THE NAPA VALLEY WINE TRAIN?

The average time for most of the train's tours and packages is 3 to 6 hours. Lunch and dinner rides with no stops last around 3 hours, and half-day winery tours last around 3 to 4 hours.

WHAT IS THE HOLE IN LAKE BERRYESSA, CALIFORNIA?

The Glory Hole is a man-made spillway that services the Monticello Dam. When the water in the reservoir gets too high, the spillway redirects the flow of the water underground to prevent it from spilling over the dam.

CAN YOU SWIM IN LAKE BERRYESSA?

Yes, swimming is allowed in the lake and is considered safe, except in designated areas. During the summer, the water temperature is great for swimming, often exceeding 80 degrees. There are no lifeguards on duty.

SIGHTSEE IN BALE GRIST MILL STATE PARK

ARE DOGS ALLOWED AT BALE GRIST MILL PARK?

Yes, however dogs are allowed only in developed areas of the park. Dogs are not allowed on trails, in backcountry areas, historic buildings, or historic gardens.

IS BALE GRIST MILL PARK ADA ACCESSIBLE?

Designated accessible parking is available at the park. An 850-foot-long paved accessible path leads from accessible parking to the mill and museum, where stair rails and risers on an alternate route are available.
