Visit the town of Yountville for a month of holiday cheer. There are dozens of events, activities, performances, special offers, and more for you and your family to enjoy. Visit the outdoor ice rink on the the grounds of the Napa Expo. The 6,300 sq ft space of real ice is open to the public and includes free skate rental with the price of admission. Open daily (except Christmas Day). Now through January 6th, 2019
The Napa Valley Wine Train throws holiday bashes throughout the year, and Christmas is no exception. Take a ride on the Santa Train and sip hot cocoa, enjoy freshly baked cookies, and join in games on your musical ride to the North Pole. This experience is perfect for children, or those of us who just refuse to grow up. Make reservations in advance, as this experience tends to sell out fast. Available on select dates and times. The Calistoga Holiday Village returns for a long weekend of merriment at select locations throughout the town of Calistoga. Kick off the festivities with a Tree Lighting Street Faire and holiday shopping in downtown Calistoga. Enjoy food, baked goods, hot cocoa, and the North Pole Wine Garden. There are plenty of family friendly activities like arts and crafts, games, carolers, live music and dance performances, and a special appearance from Santa. Hop on the complimentary Holly Trolley for a ride around Calistoga to check out the decorated neighborhoods. And that’s only the first night.
Come back on Saturday for the 48th Annual Calistoga Christmas Faire at the Napa County Fairgrounds for a day of festive food, gifts from 40 local artisans, a gingerbread house competition, and more. The 23rd Annual Calistoga Lighted Tractor Parade begins later that night on Lincoln Avenue, a nod both to the holidays and the Napa Valley’s agricultural heritage. Wrap it up with a Sunday holiday brunch at participating restaurants, like Hydro Grill, who is serving up french toast drenched in brandied eggnog with maple-brandy syrup and dried cranberries. Get sweaty and dress in festive attire at the Annual Reindeer Run in American Canyon. The family friendly 5K and 10K run benefits KHOPE International, the American Canyon High School Scholarship Fund, and ACCPF. Registration includes t-shirts for all participants. December 1st, 2018
Lyman Park in St. Helena comes alive during the month of December for their annual Jingle All the Way celebration. ‘Glice’ skate, pig out at food trucks, listen to live music, and more. Attend a Vocal Color Music Choir performance, or take the mic yourself at Christmas Karaoke night. Party like a local and attend the 4th annual Rutherford Holiday Festival in the iconic Rutherford Hall community building. The old-fashioned holiday event features holiday desserts, wines, entertainment, crafts, and a special Santa cameo.
